About me

I blend visual design, UX, and business strategy to turn ideas into great products and experiences.

I’m a multidisciplinary creative lead with a design degree, a developer's curiosity, and a strategist’s obsession with solving the right problems. I’ve spent the last 15+ years helping teams turn vague ambition into real impact — from startups with shoestring budgets to global brands with six-figure ones.

I've built and led international teams (London, New York, India), scaled design functions, pitched to execs, built an internationally renowned insights framework, and still very much enjoy cracking open a Figma file.

My work lives at the intersection of design, strategy, and execution — where ideas get stress-tested, beautiful things get built, and roadmaps finally start to make sense.

The backstory

I got into design because I was obsessed with how things work — not just aesthetically, but emotionally, functionally, commercially. That obsession led me to obtain a degree specialising in Graphic Design & Advertising where I then spent over a decade learning my craft — from working as a UX Architect and digital designer, to leading global design efforts as an Art Director at one of London’s leading agencies (iDX). There, I led design initiatives for global brands including De Beers, Ocado, Rolls Royce, and Lowe’s, helping them navigate complex transformation challenges.

That same drive eventually led me to build Dualo in 2021, a knowledge-sharing platform born out of a real pain I experienced working across disconnected teams. Dualo went on to be named a ‘Must-Have UX Tool’ by UX Collective in 2023, and is now a core tool for teams at Mozilla, Reddit, Flo Health, The Guardian, and many more.

I’ve made things that win awards. And I’ve made things that broke.

I believe that as a designer, your entire career is one long practice in adaptation. You launch things that don’t land. You rework flows after user tests obliterate your assumptions. You defend your decisions in rooms where you’ve got the least power. But every one of those moments builds resilience — and sharpens your instincts.

Thought leadership

In 2025, I gave the closing keynote at UX Insight Conference in Amsterdam, sharing a framework for cross-functional insight-sharing that’s used inside Mozilla, Reddit, The Guardian, and more. You can check out the recording of my talk below.

What I do

Design

From full-stack UX to brand systems, I design with purpose and precision — balancing creativity with craft, and big ideas with beautiful execution. Whether it’s content, components, or custom illustrations, I’ve built experiences that scale and resonate.

Strategy

I turn ambiguity into clarity — connecting user needs with business goals to shape smart, actionable plans. Whether it’s launching new products or building internal frameworks, I help teams move from vague ambition to real momentum.

Leadership

I’ve built and scaled global design teams rooted in mentorship, autonomy, and shared growth. My leadership style is hands-on but ego-free — creating systems where seniors mentor juniors, juniors challenge seniors, and everyone learns something.

Delivery

I get things shipped — securely, strategically, and at speed. From dev handoffs to stakeholder wrangling, I handle the unglamorous bits that make big ideas real (with a little help from AI when needed).
